EYE LEVEL

about

Eye Level Training Academy (ELTA) is established with the objective of bringing the philosophy of Eye Level, which is to nurture problem-solvers, critical thinkers and lifelong learners, in an easy and accessible manner to the parents of Singapore.

The Ministry of Education of Singapore has been emphasising on a teach less learn more approach in recent years. As leaders of self-directed learning (SDL), Eye Level wants ELTA to equip parents with a better understanding of their children’s development, and instill self-directed learning at home. The result is a generation of young and involved parents who can teach less while maximising their children’s learning from home.

MAXIMIZE YOUR CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT

Parents, you are invited!

Eye Level Training Academy

Parenting of the 21st century requires the efforts of a different type of parent – an involved and knowledgeable parent. And yet being involved can be challenging as parents have to juggle between work and home. As such, knowledge regarding children’s development milestones is critical for the healthy development of children. The ELTA workshop will focus on 3 areas of knowledge:

1. The stronger understanding of a child’s cognitive and personality development
2. The importance of parenting styles and their implications on development
3. The understanding of Self-Directed Learning (SDL) – its processes and challenges
